Meet Kenyon

It is our pleasure to introduce you to Kenyon. Kenyon picked up his first camera at age 7 and hasn’t looked back. His camera travels with him everywhere.

We first met him two years ago when our education director reviewed his portfolio for a youth exhibition. He was only 11 years old at the time, but our education director recognized and encouraged his development. She selected seven of his photographs for the exhibit. Their communication continued, and Kenyon participated in the 2024 and 2025 Young Artist’s Expo. Our director then offered him the opportunity to have a solo exhibition to present his works to the public, and he met the challenge!

Kenyon reflects, “I was able to be at LCA to showcase my works to my friends and family, and it really meant a lot to have all of my work in one space and hear what people say about it. I’ve also been very fortunate to be able to sell some of my pieces and earn money to put towards camera gear.”

We are also thrilled to announce we have been given a challenge match from one of our loyal supporters, Debbie Hyndman. She will match your donation, dollar to dollar, up to $50,000 through December 31, 2025.
